At Beacon of Hope we communicate the message of the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. This hope is not found in religion or in anything else life has to offer, but only in having a personal relationship with Jesus. Our prayer is that you encounter this hope which can empower you to rise above any challenge you experience in life. May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in your faith, that by the power of the Holy Spirit your whole life and outlook may be radiant with hope (Romans 15:13).
The Power of (Every)one
Our theme for the year is “The Power of Everyone.” The theme signifies the exponential increase of capacity to do something or to be influential when everybody is actively involved by doing their part. Our aspiration is that every person in our church be involved in building the Kingdom of God. The theme is also relevant to us since we are rebuilding the “walls” of our church for the fulfillment of what God wants to establish through us on the earth. The wall of Jericho was not destroyed by the works of one person or one group. Neither did the Holy Spirit ascend on one person that was alone in a room on the Day of Pentecost. We believe that when every person does their part our church will truly be a beacon with the message of hope.
